Beat Cancer Together
Brothers in arms, Matt and Steve will be leading the Carter family group. Keen walkers, bird watchers & butterfly enthusiasts, Matt says “ We’ll keep a count of sightings along the Ridgeway, take some snaps and let you know what we see".
Matt is an ex-patient walking in a group that comprises both family and friends. He is also a trustee of OOSO (Oxfordshire Oesophageal and Stomach Organisation)..
OOSO works closely with the Churchill Hospital Upper GI clinical team supporting oesophageal and stomach cancer patients and their families. You can learn more about the charity by clicking here.
One of the current targets that OOSO has is to raise £100,000 towards six important projects identified by the clinical team. In different ways each of these projects will help new patients to survive cancer.
So far, we have raised £70,000.
Please support us in this sponsored walk, and help us achieve our target.
